Why Boxin?

Boxin Logo Shaped by the picturesque coastal city of Qingdao, our brand draws inspiration from the iconic silhouette of the Qingdao Zhanqiao pier(as shown in the right picture), with the letter "B" symbolizing progress and advancement.

In "BOXIN," "BO" is derived from the Chinese character "泊" (bo), while "XIN" represents "新" (xin), meaning "new." This originates from a line in the ancient Chinese poem "巴山道中除夜書懷(Writing on Feelings at Ba Mountain Path on New Year’s Eve)" by Tu Cui, which reads, "那堪正漂泊，明日歲華新." (It's unbearable to be on the road at New Year Eve.Tomorrow will be the start of another New Year.) This verse reflects the arduous journey of entrepreneurship yet brims with hope for a brighter tomorrow. Even amidst tumultuous challenges, we firmly believe that tomorrow holds promise.


As an international trading company, we've chosen "BOXIN" as our English representation for its connotations of strength and ease of recall, aligning with our vision for global expansion.

Our History

Our factory was established in 2001, and now we expanded into trading to support our continued growth. Today, Boxin’s business goes beyond scallops.

Our plant is located in the Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone, near Bohai Bay. Established in 2001 with a total investment of USD 550,000, the company integrates seafood processing and sales, and currently employs over 100 staff.

We specialize in deep-processed products such as boiled ferri/sea scallop, bay scallop meat, and formed bay scallop. We also offer OEM processing services. Our facility is certified by BRC and HACCP, and our products are exported to Japan, the USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Korea, Southeast Asia, and more.

The plant covers 13,969 m², with 3,600 tons of cold storage and 4,934 m² of purified workshops. We operate advanced processing equipment, including IQF machines, X-ray scanners, steaming lines, and a complete cold chain system, ensuring stable quality and efficient production.
